The British Senate produce the ‘European Senate’ magazine on behalf of the ASE and it is an ideal way to keep abreast of what is happening in the Senate world. The magazine is produced 4 times a year

We have a section recognising new Senators in Europe and another regular section is the Forthcoming Events where we list the activities that Senators are likely to be interested in attending. We also plan to do some ‘spotlights’ on Senate ‘Characters’ and traditions!

The Editors are Peter Browning, responsible for content, and Henry Ruddock who is responsible for production (so now you know who to blame for what!).

The easiest way to pay is by credit card using PayPal (no fees, currency charges or postage for you) – e-mail with your details (name, Senate number, postal address) & how many years you would like to subscribe for & he will organise it.

Acceptable methods of payment are;-

• Cash - Europe in UK £17.50; ROW in UK £20.00 (cash as above in Euro or USD is also acceptable)
• Cheque drawn on a UK bank - Europe in UK £17.50; ROW in UK £20; UK in UK £15 (we regret that it is not economic for us to accept Eurocheques or other non-sterling cheques).
• We also accept Standing Orders from UK banks (contact the Treasurer).

We are always grateful to receive photographs of Senators for inclusion in the European Newsletter

Please send:-

• Fun or unusual pictures
• Pictures that have a resolution between 200mb and 1000mb where possible
• One or two good ones where we can see people’s faces

Please do not send:

• Lots of almost identical pictures – pick the best to send
• Formal pictures unless they are special
